Easter 2012

We went hiking with the in-town in-laws for Easter up Butler Wash . It was awesome.  We like to wear out tiedye shirts when hiking- easy to spot.  Cousins sharing snacks First Ruin Happy Baby At Big Cave Ruin*- Peek A Boo (*my name for it- not official) Inside the cave looking out. Third Ruin- Hard to get into. Us Girls+Charlie stayed behind on that one .  So we could give the baby kisses.  Then we went back home for naps and met back at Grandpa and Grandma's for Egg Hunting.  Holding hands before we let them loose on the yard Look how many I got Mom! Charlie loved playing with the plastic eggs.  Checking out the loot: It was a glorious Easter weekend full of sunshine and happy memories (and Ian and Landon learned firsthand about the dangers of Cactus- they lived to tell the tales.) HAPPY SPRING WORLD!

Easter is on its way.  Easter is a time of rebirth and growth and springing from the tomb and rejoicing. And hats.  (This hat is from Etsy- you can find it HERE  and join me in the celebration of all things Easter.) The perpetual little girl in me really just wants to grow up to be the Hat Lady at church.  I *LOVE* hats and gloves and miss the little dresses that came with both. This year I will not have either as I cannot find my box that has my gloves and I don't have a good Easter hat.  I also haven't sought for one that would be suitable to go with my Easter Dress (that I also don't have...) Why is it that the froofy dresses are only for people 3 feet tall and under? Hm. I feel a project brewing.  For next year- I'm not *THAT* industrious.  Today's epic task: to make Grandma Brown's Cinnamon Rolls...we'll see- I'm not so good with yeast- I kill it.  But I'm confident that if I go slow enough it'll hopefully ...

Easter and Such

I hate to do this to you again but pictures will be forthcoming as soon as I grab my sister's camera.  Our poor little camera has dead batteries again- which is really frustrating because we JUST charged the batteries-- looks like it's time for some new ones (batteries not camera). We had a lovely time with Oma and her Mr. Last this past week and were sad to see them go.  We had a 50th party at the "Castle Park" where we were blasted by chilly bursts of good ol' Cache Valley cold.  The boys LOVED it though.  They didn't really care that it was cold.  Packed a few boxes. Realized, yet again, that we have far too much stuff- but I'm struggling with parting with some of it.  Packing is slow going.  Evidently it takes a LOT more out of me than I thought it would.  Wee number 3 is growing steadily and zaps all energy I might have had otherwise.  I do believe he doubled in size this last weekend. Oma was kind enough to post as soon as she got hom...
