  3. Oh, Neil...

When my Chilean brother-in-law came home from his oath taking ceremony thingie (I'm sure there's a more accurate name for this) when he became a U.S. citizen, I threw him a surprise/congratulations party. I had this song playing when he walked through the door. All of the natural-born Americans thought it was hilarious. The Chilean-born American had never heard it before.

Just a heads up. Neil Diamond jokes are LOST on South Americans.

Thanks for posting this. I think you just made my night.

  4. Oh Neil Diamond. It was time for a dose of Neil Diamond. Everytime I hear him I think of Dad. And DeBryn has never heard this song btw.

  5. This is one of my all time favorite songs!!! yep, I LOVE it. I used to be in a singing group when I was a little girl and we got to sing this while riding a float in our town's 4th of July parade. It was AWESOME :)
