One plus one plus one plus one is FOUR--That's how big our family is now. Landon Maurice Hurst was born (a little unexpectedly) May 23rd. We had taken a trip to Blanding for Nikki's graduation and I went into labor Saturday morning. Because he was 4 weeks early his lungs weren't as developed as they should be so he was life-flighted to Grand Junction Colorado to the NICU there. It was a hard experience to not even be able to hold him for the first day. He was only there for 4 days and we went home to Blanding to be with the in-laws for a while so Landon could get stronger. He's good. We're home in Logan now. Sorry no pictures--we're at the Library and didn't come prepared. And it gives you something to look forward to :) Sorry the post is short but my battery is about dead. 6 lbs 4 oz. 19 1/2 inches long. Love you all.

  2. congrats! I'm so glad he's ok, that's gotta be hard to be separated at first. Can't wait for some pictures!
